About the Series

From classroom to career

The BUPCC White Paper Series publishes short scholarly works on careers, employability, industry analysis, and the future of work.

BUPCC exists at the bridge between classroom and career. The series captures research that helps undergraduates - and the people hiring them - understand how industries actually move, what skills actually compound, and where graduate work is actually heading.

Every accepted paper is reviewed by a faculty-led editorial board, paired with an ORCID iD, registered with a permanent DOI under the CCPM framework operated by CFSBR, and hosted open access. Students leave each issue with a citable artifact they can put on a CV, an application, or a recruiter's desk.

How it works

The CCPM workflow

Frontend autonomy, centralised ingestion. The club owns its branding and hosting; CFSBR runs the metadata pipeline and Crossref deposit.

  1. 01
    Internal Screening

Club editorial team reviews the draft; faculty advisor signs the approval letter.

  2. 02
    Frontend Deployment

Issue landing page goes live on the club's own domain using the CCPM boilerplate.

  3. 03
    Metadata Collection

Title, authors, ORCID, abstract, and the public PDF URL are packaged for ingestion.

  4. 04
    Central Audit

CFSBR validates metadata, runs the XML/JSON build, and queues for Crossref deposit.

  5. 05
    DOI Activation

A permanent DOI is registered within 24 hours and resolves to the club's hosted PDF.
